“God, You Are My God” — A Powerful New Worship Song

What you were created for

Worshiping God.

Beholding Him.  Loving Him.  Praising Him.

That’s why you are here.

That’s why you exist.

So —

Nurture a heart of worship

Spend time beholding God in His Word.

Think deeply about who God is — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Pray for the work of the Spirit to help you love, enjoy, praise Him.

Express your worship in prayer and song and gesture.

Do this alone — and with other brothers and sisters in the faith.

Let this song help

I just learned this song last Sunday at Mercy Hill.

We sang —

No other one is Holy.

No other one is robed in righteousness.

God, you are my God.  Glorious.  Glorious!

God, you are my God.  Victorious.  Victorious!

And in great mercy God met us.

May He meet you as well.
