Powerful worship song

Years ago I used to lead worship for our high school group.

One of our favorite songs was “Strong Tower” by the Newsboys.

It’s based on Proverbs 18:10 —

“The name of the LORD is a strong tower;

the righteous man runs into it and is safe.”

Temptations, snares, deceptions are coming our way.

But the good news is that we can always run into the Strong Tower — Jesus Christ.

Of course, we don’t run physically — but we can run spiritually — by turning our thoughts toward Him, asking Him to help us, and setting our faith upon His promises in the Word.

Whenever we do that — we will be safe.
