More Abu Dhabi Sermons
Some of you have asked if any more of my Abu Dhabi preaching is available online.
So here are links to the sermons I have preached since June 12th. I pray that the Lord will use them to encourage you.
(Click the blue, underlined words, and then when the web page comes up click the little triangle. You will then be able to listen to the audio.)
How God Can Be Good When He Allows Trials (Psalm 119:65-72)
This is a question we must ask, and answer, if we are to keep strong during trials.
The Cause of Quarrels (James 4:1-10)
Quarrels show that our hearts are in spiritual danger. But the power of Christ can free us.
A Word to Wives and Husbands (1 Peter 3:1-7)
My goal in this sermon was to help us see the beauty of marriage as it is described in God’s word.
Arm Yourself with Suffering (1 Peter 4:1-6)
Here Peter calls us to arm ourselves with the purpose of suffering, and gives us five truths to help us do this.
The End of All Things Is at Hand (1 Peter 4:7-11)
Peter tells us that Jesus could return at any time, and explains what this means for prayer and our love for each other.
God’s Purpose for Our Sufferings (1 Peter 4:12-19)
Peter explains that trials are not random or meaningless, and how understanding God’s purpose for trials will strengthen us as we go through them.
Elders, Shepherd the Flock of God! (1 Peter 5:1-5)
Here Peter shows that Jesus wants every believer to be under the loving care of humble, godly shepherds.
Trials, Satan, and God’s Mighty Hand (1 Peter 5:6-14)
In this passage Peter explains where God is during trials, what Satan is doing during trials, and how we should respond during trials.
