An Exciting Development For The Living By Faith Blog
Let’s say you were discouraged and wanted to get encouragement and counsel from members of this blog.
Up to this point your only option was to comment on a post, and hope someone would read your comment and respond. But that’s not why people read comments, so you wouldn’t have gotten much help.
But now there’s a better way.
Today I am excited to announce the start of a Forums page — where the Living By Faith Blog community can encourage each other, bear each other’s burdens, share helpful promises, and grow together in living by faith.
How This Will Help You
This is exciting, because on the Forums page you will be able to —
- Connect with others who are growing in living by faith
- Share promises you have found helpful
- Learn promises others find helpful
- Ask specific questions about living by faith
- Get answers to specific questions about living by faith
- Encourage others who are fighting the fight of faith
- Learn from others who have fought battles you are now fighting
- Share your struggles so you can receive encouragement
- Share your victories so you can encourage others
How This Works
To access the Forums go to the top of this page and click the “Forums” box. (You can also access it here.)
That will take you to the Forums page, where you will be asked to create a username and password (sorry about the inconvenience, but this helps us avoid spam).
Then look through the various Forums and post wherever and whatever would be helpful — maybe start with the Introduce Yourself forum so others can get to know you.
You Have An Important Part
For forums to work they need lots of participants. And right now we have only one — me.
So would you help get things rolling by going to the Forums page, posting whatever might be helpful, and then checking in regularly and responding to what others have posted?
The more you and others do that, the more quickly these forums will start to strengthen people in living by faith.
One Caution
I’m hoping these Forums will create a faith-building community. But don’t let this community take the place of church.
Church means face-to-face community with flesh-and-blood brothers and sisters in Christ. So these forums, and the community here on this blog, should never take the place of church.
So make church your priority, and then contribute to these forums as you can.
Thanks.

Great idea! I think especially if you have sticky topics for key topics/teachings for easy access. maybe also areas to discuss readings from books
So glad you like this idea, Jason. I’ll need to talk to you face to face about how to use sticky topics — I’ve heard of that but have never known exactly what it meant 🙂
