Be Freed By The Power Of The Cross (“Jesus, Thank You” Worship Video)

Jesus, Thank You

The Cross gives us the clearest picture of God — His justice, His wrath, His mercy, and His love.

And when we look at the Cross with faith we can experience its freeing power.

How do you need to be freed today?

Feeling bored?  The Cross shows a dazzling Glory you can seek, know, and display.

Weary of battling sin?  The Cross shows what it cost Jesus to free you from sin.

Feeling smug?  The Cross shows the punishment each of us deserves.

Full of doubt?  The Cross displays a God who is just, holy, loving — and real.

Feeling guilty?  The Cross shows that God’s wrath has been completely satisfied.

Fighting temptation?  The Cross shows the all-satisfying Love sin can’t match.

Feeling empty?  The Cross displays the Glory that will satisfy.

Feeling fearful?  The Cross shows how devoted God is to your good.

Feeling angry?  The Cross displays the heart-filling Glory no one can steal.

Let this worship song show you the Cross and bring you freedom

  2. Paul Walton says:

    “Feeling Guilty?”

“For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.” -Romans 5:19

We are sinners, yet, clothed in Christ’s righteousness, now that should blow our minds!

Prodigals each of us, we had our backs to God, seeking our own sinful desires, not wanting to acknowledge His sovereignty, yet alone to bow to Him.

“By Your perfect sacrifice I’ve been brought near
Your enemy You’ve made your friend
Pouring out the riches of your glorious grace
Your mercy and your kindness know no end.”

I’m guilty of taking this incredible gift of grace for granted, I should be on my face each morning weeping over His kindness shown to me.

But there I am feeling dry, and yet He still loves me…

Thank you for your encouragement — and also for your honesty, Paul.

I, too, take this astonishing salvation for granted. Let’s press in for more of the Spirit’s work of convicting us of sin — and His precious work of assuring us of salvation.
