I came across this article that still terrifies me and my salvation even today, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but even more so then Matthew 7:22

First off for over 20 yrs. I have been a born again Christian and I firmly believe just through my personal testimonies alone I have been truly saved, but I have had doubts about my salvation and reconfirmed it by reaccepting or recommitting to Jesus a few times. Jesus has always been my rock and goto in times of distress and uncertainty and I firmly believe it's because of my assurance in him that I have been able to perform certain spiritual task with authority that my flesh would never be able to even conceive.

Now that brings me to what I uncovered recently. One morning I came across an image on the internet of the dollar bill that caught my attention, so I opened it up which brought me to a website call truthunveiled.com. Here I found many articles about end times and conspiracies ,but the one thing that startled me more then any other was one that said "The Pagan origins of Jesus Christ". So instantly my spirit was troubled, but I was skeptical thinking someone's just trying to falsely expose Christ much like the Pharisees did. However Nothing could prepare me for what I was about to see.

It was a 3hr. Video composed of doctrines and images explaining the origins of Christ Jesus. Now first of all this is probably partly my fault in not having a whole lot of knowledge of Gods word except for bits and pieces of scripture while at the same time I did not pray asking the Holy Spirit for truth and guidance simply because before I came across this I was very distant from God and living in sin at this point.

First off what I learned was that the name Jesus was from the pagan origins of the Greek god "Zeus"which was translated to Iesous and then the name Jesus later on and Christ was derived from "Christos" another pagan deity which was considered Christopaganism at the time of the Templar and ruling of Constantine.

There is also mention of Jesus Christ meaning the term (earth pig) along with the name YHWH or Yahweh which should represent God the Father, but I also learned recently that this is supposedly recognized as a lord of war. I've never read Hebrew, but learned that the actual name of the savior Yahshua, Yeshua or Yahuwah was removed from scripture. There is much more like images of Christ in relation to other images like Buddha and even Satan himself with familiar likeness of a hand gesture that Jesus demonstrates in paintings and the sun behind his head.

Now some of this might not be exact or true, but it's to the best of my knowledge from what I came across. All I know is when I gave my life to Christ I was not giving it to a pagan deity or God and what I received through the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues was spiritual, genuine, pure and an overcoming peace that was unexplainable. I believe without a shadow of a doubt that I would not have received this and would not be in constant pursuit of Jesus after every sin falling to my knees in prayer and worship to my savior for grace, forgiveness and repentance if this had been from a pagan God.

At the same time I find it hard to believe that millions of Christians with honest hearts changed all over the world even going through persecution would be deceived or that a Loving Just God would allow such a thing without revealing to his children. There are countless testimonies including my own of Gods grace, blessings and forgiveness. I just can't bring myself and will not allow myself to be deceived. On top of everything this article dismissed everything Jesus did on the cross referring back to the law and living by the law.

I uncovered all this a month ago and even though I trust my life and salvation in the name Jesus Christ, I admittedly have had my doubts and even questioned my salvation or who I was pledging my life too. I had a severe anxiety attack and panicked daily for 2 weeks driving a wedge into my relationship with my wife and praying to God the Father every day, but at the same time I was questioning if I was even praying to the right God or if the Holy Father mentioned in the bible even existed. I contacted other Christians all over including my pastor and my wife's father who is a retired pastor and thuroughly studies the bible from all translations. They did confirm that Jesus Christ is our salvation, but even today my thoughts go back to that day, perhaps it's the enemies attack, idk and am very concerned. I DO NOT wanna deny Christ ever especially in the days to come and if anything it did bring me back closer to God and My savior Jesus Christ, atleast I wanna truly believe that.

I came to this blog site and after reading the wonderful heartfelt testimonies from others along with spiritual guidance, I sense and hope I can gather some light on this matter.

Hi Glenn, I just came across this site and your post quite by accident. I felt grieved that no one was able to help you. Typically, those sites are on the internet are from atheists and others who want to throw pilgrims off the path by doubt. Most of the "facts" they post are pure garbage and long been disproved. I have not gone to the site yet but I will. There are many wonderful sites you can go to for help. The basic fact that people always try to disprove Jesus should give you a clue who is behind it all. The same author SATAN.. Muslims say Jesus did not die on the cross, Mormans say Jesus is one of many Gods's atheist say Jesus never existed. LOL There is more historical proof of Jesus's life and ministry in history that any other ancient individual.I will get back to you with more but for now brother stay away from those sites if you are weak in the knowledge of God's word and don't know how to fight back with knowledge and truth. These sites are trash and have been proven to be so. Jesus is real. I have had a miraculous transformation in my own life and can attest to the saving pwoer of Christ. Don't open yourself up for the enemy to gain a foothole. I did that once while debating an atheist and I know the feeling. I then went on a knowledge search and found it to be all garbage. I will get back to you with some sites. I have known the Lord from age 23 and now I am 62 and have been through it all. Take heart brother and don't despair. Let me know how you are doing.
