Since I am no longer preaching at Mercy Hill, some of you have asked if any of my Abu Dhabi preaching has been posted online.
So here are five sermons I’ve preached since arriving here.
Why Was Jesus Transfigured? (Mark 9:2-13) (April 10)
When I studied this passage closely I noticed why Jesus was transfigured, and the answer deeply encouraged my faith.
Too often fear squelches my eagerness. But one step that helps is to see what fueled Paul’s eagerness, and to pray over that reason until my heart is changed.
Let the Father use this passage to cut away the cataracts of sin that so easily blind us to Jesus’ glory, so we love his glory and live for his glory more than anything else.
If you are struggling to surrender part of your life to Christ, this passage might help bring you to your knees before him.
Satan is constantly at work to disrupt God’s plan for the church. Here’s how God can enable you to overcome Satan’s work and pursue church life.
