I wanted to let you know that Jan and I are on vacation for a few weeks.
I plan to keep posting. I did prepare some blog posts ahead of time, and I look forward to sharing what God teaches me while we are away — but it might be a bit spotty.
And — if you are interested —
Here’s our itinerary —
Drive to the Grand Canyon, where we will meet Jan’s brother and sister-in-law. Then we will drive with them to Sedona, AZ where we will see Jan’s parents.
Our daughter Anna will join us in Arizona, flying in from Minnesota.
Jan, Anna, and I will drive from Arizona to Southern California where we will visit with my parents and other family members (and have lots of time to talk with my dad about what it means to live by faith).
Jan, Anna, and I will drive back to San Jose. Our son Brad will join us for a (too-rare) Fuller Family reunion dinner.
Then Anna will head back to Minnesota, and Jan and I will fly to Boston to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Jan teaches the Revolutionary War period to 4th graders – so we thought we’d go see where it all happened.
We will also get some time on the coast in Maine and Connecticut. Then we’ll fly back to San Jose.
We are looking forward to rest, re-connecting with family and friends, extended time seeking God, reading, and lots of fun.
Thank you for all the ways you have encouraged me with this blog — your prayer, comments, sharing with friends, visiting the Facebook page, and questions.
God has poured His grace upon me through starting this blog — and much of that grace has come through you.
So — thank you.
