A 4-Min Worship Song to Strengthen Your Faith (“God Undefeatable”)

A new song

At the recent Acts 29 Pastors’ Conference I heard “God Undefeatable” (by Aaron Ivey, Matt Carter, and Ross King).

All I could say was — Wow.

I knew I wanted to share it here on the Living By Faith Blog.

So I just found a video of Todd Agnew’s version of the song on YouTube — and listened.

Joy — and tears

I wasn’t expecting to be this deeply affected.

But I was — filled with joy in beholding our powerful and loving God.

Moved — to the point of tears — at His perfect, true, loving power.

What stirred me?

The simple truth about Jesus Christ —

He is true, He is right, death is broken, He is alive.

The beauty of His love —

Love undeniable, matchless and bountiful.

The rock-solid certainty of His faithfulness —

And now our way is certain, our souls in You secure.

The certain hope of victory —

Through every pain and struggle, Your victory endures.

Enjoy —

  1. I love the way that this song so focuses on God! What a comfort to know and think about our God being undefeatable and victorious! I’m almost finished reading through Job and was amazed this morning as God just began answering Job. God so shows Job how big and powerful and all wise and wonderful He is! It makes me marvel at how wonderful He is and gives me such confidence to trust in His all wise and loving plan! Thanks for sharing this song!

      You are so welcome, Breanna.

And your summary is exactly how it affected me — and why I wanted to post it — seeing “how wonderful He is … gives me such confidence to trust His all wise and loving plan.”

Yes. He is worth it all.

  2. Ron R. says:

WOW!! What a Great way to start the day! Indeed he is victorious and undefeatable. He Reigns and right from the start of the song… “Behold the King who conquered and overcame our sin”. That just humbles me to think that my sin was overcome by Jesus. He paid and died and overcame death…So That I Could Live!! Amen and Amen!! He is Undefeatable!! I bow down in awe of his majesty!!

  3. Ian says:

Blessed by this song, brother – thank you. Sometimes I feel so ashamed that I would ever try to put the only Sovereign in a box or limit what He is able to do either with us or without us.

What an amazing King we serve.

    Grace and peace,

    • Steve Fuller says:

Greetings, Ian! It’s good to meet another brother in Christ.

Thank you for taking the time to let me know that this song was encouraging.

I really appreciate it — Steve

  4. Brian says:

I can see why you were blessed, a blessing I share. The lyrics are full of worship because the focus remains on our awesome God.
With slight breaks to remind us:
    > Our way is certain …
    > We are alive …
    > The love of God is greater than we dare to hope or dream.
    > The hold of God is stronger than we dare to hope or dream.
For which one must return to their knees to worship and praise Him!
Without His hold, how could we stand?

    • Steve Fuller says:

I’m so glad this encouraged you, Brian. And the lyrics you emphasize are powerful. Like you said “without His hold, how could we stand?”

So, so true. Thanks for letting me know that this was helpful.

      He is worth it all,

  5. Bill Schuler says:

His love is greater than we dare to hope or dream……It was at that moment in the song where I had breakthrough! 🙂 Thanks for sharing Steve! Good format too.

    • Steve Fuller says:

I’m so glad this song brought you a breakthrough, Bill. And I can see how God would use those exact words to bring this about.

Thanks for letting me know that this encouraged you — and thanks for the feedback on the email format.
